Missing (memories) reflects on everything we might have lost over the course of time. The work is part of my PhD research project at Hasselt University and PXL-MAD School of Arts, Hasselt, which is funded by the Special Research Fund (BOF) of Hasselt University (BOF21DOC04).

All objects in the series are inspired by candle holder pieces from the collection of the DIVA museum, Antwerp (BE). In the design process, however, an attempt was made to create their ugly cousins that have been lost over time. The objects are a fantasy of objects that might once have been, visualising these as fragile ghosts of the past.
